Veterinary Care

Veterinary Care Veterinary Services provided by Dr. Pam Walker; one of the most experienced and accomplished camelid veterinarians in the US.  With 9 years of reproductive, emergency, and routine care experience at Alpaca Jack's, and years of teaching, clinical, and emergency experience prior, Dr. Walker is highly esteemed and trusted by seasoned breeders and veterinarians alike.  She is truly an alpaca expert and we are so very fortunate to have her at our farm to provide exemplary care to our alpacas and yours!

 In addition to working at Alpaca Jack's she currently is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Ohio State Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and teaches senior veterinary students in food and fiber animal rotations.  Dr. Walker teaches herd health seminars nationwide, and trains veterinarians from around the country on our farm.  She is available here by appointment Tuesday through Friday, and is available for same-day emergency.
